Regulatory Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current Georgia license as an LPN. Experience as an LPN commensurate with one of the following: One (1) year experience in an acute care setting within the last 24 months; Six (6) months of agency care experience within the last 12 months. Valid Georgia driver’s license and reliable automobile. Proof of current automobile insurance. Current health certificate/physical examination and TB testing. Valid BLS CPR & 1ST AID card. Flexible, yet organized, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
Preferred:
Work experience in the developmental disability community. HOME HEALTH AIDE – OFFSITE CLIENTELE & COMPANION SITTER
Involves Driving: Must have valid GA Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle! Must have valid GA Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle! Supports patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals and snacks; running errands. Assists patients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming. This is a general summary. PCA – OFFSITE CLIENT CLIENTELE (PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT)
Involves Driving: Must have valid GA Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle! Aides generally are responsible for light cleaning, cooking, running errands, and doing laundry, as well as assisting clients with bathing, showering, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks. They also engage clients in activities like reading, talking, and playing games. This is a general summary. Our clients have customized services provided through the Community Living Support Program.
DSP -ADULT DAY PROGRAM– ONSITE | (DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL)
Preference for applicant without physical restraints to support persons in wheelchairs. Also, basketball coaching experience a plus (although not required)! The DSP will be responsible for providing a set of instructional activities and supports to individuals preparing for either independent living skills or and employment on an individualized basis. The DSP will provide individuals with knowledge of skills, behaviors and resources for successfully acquiring and maintaining the ability to function in the community. The DSP will report directly to the Program Managers. Each DSP has the responsibility for overseeing the delivery of waiver and/state services to individuals with the focus on overall quality of service delivery by the provider agency.
